Overview
Day 1: Arrival – Shillong
- Arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station.
- Drive to Shillong(~100 km / 3 hrs), the “Scotland of the East”.
- En route visit Umiam Lake, a serene lake surrounded by hills.
- Evening arrival and overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 2: Shillong – Cherrapunjee (Via Mawlynnong & Dawki)
- Early breakfast and depart from Shillong (~7:00 AM).
- Drive to Dawki(~80 km / 2-3 hrs).
- Visit Dawki Bridgeand optional boat ride on Umngot River.
- Continue to Mawlynnong(~25 km).
- Explore Asia’s Cleanest Villageand Living Root Bridge.
- Proceed to Cherrapunjee(~90 km / 2-3 hrs).
- Evening arrival and overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
Day 3: Cherrapunjee – Full Day Sightseeing
- After breakfast, visit waterfalls and attractions including:
- Wah-Kaba Falls
- Mawsawa Falls
- Prut Waterfall
- Lyngksiar Falls
- Janailar Falls
- Seven Sisters Falls
- Arwha Cave
- Mawsmai Cave
- Nokhalikai Falls
- Eco Park
- Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
Day 4: Cherrapunjee – Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek (Sunday Closed)
- Day trip to Double Decker Living Root Bridge.
- Drive to Tyrna Village, the starting point of the trek.
- Trek through lush green fields and cliffs, passing small villages and vegetation.
- Reach Nongriat Villageto witness the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge.
- Enjoy a quick swim in the natural pool.
- Hike back to Tyrna Village.
- Return to Cherrapunjee and overnight stay.
Day 5: Cherrapunjee – Shillong (Via Phe Phe & Krangsuri Falls)
- Early morning boating in Umngot River(optional).
- After breakfast, drive to Shillong via Jaintia Hills.
- Visit Krangsuri Fallsand Phe Phe Falls en route.
- Evening leisure in Shillong.
- Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 6: Shillong – Guwahati (Kamakhya Temple Visit & Drop)
- Breakfast and check-out.
- Drive to Guwahati.
- Visit Kamakhya Temple.
- Drop at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station. Tour ends.
